Extra Life is over for 2009, but the battle continues!

We did hit the expected problems with Livestream, so it was a very good thing we’d created a backup plan. Here’s how things went in the end, though:

First off, congratulations to Floofy for becoming the team’s MVP for the Extra Life 2009 event! Her tireless effort brought a lot more eyes to our stream and a lot more money to the kids who need it.

Secondly, we brought in a grand total of $604 for the hospital and kids, and streamed live gaming video for over 33 hours. That’s well beyond our 24-hour goal and a complete success in teamwork. Thank you, everyone– those of you who streamed and those of you who watched alike!

This is not the end, though– The hospital will continue to take donations until the end of the month towards this year’s Extra Life event. We will continue to stream, as well.
